This page is maintained by D-Erect Dealz. It describes how we handle your personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

D-Erect Dealz is operated by [Legal business name] (ABN [ABN]). We are the “APP entity” responsible for the personal information collected through this app.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number.
  • Delivery details: address, drop-off notes, and GPS coordinates used to display your order on the tracking map.
  • Order data: products ordered, order totals, timestamps, delivery status.
  • Payment reference: the PayID handle (email, mobile number, or ABN) you used to send payment. We do not store card numbers.
  • Account data: password (hashed), rewards balance, saved addresses.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and log data for security and abuse prevention.

3. Why we collect it

To take and fulfil your order, obtain a delivery quote, dispatch a courier, send you email / SMS updates about your order, calculate rewards points, respond to support requests, and detect fraud or misuse.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job:
  • Courier partners (e.g. Uber Direct) — name, phone, and delivery address so they can deliver your order.
  • Twilio — phone number and message text to send SMS tracking updates.
  • Resend — email address and message content to send receipts and status emails.
  • Google Maps — address input and coordinates for geocoding and map display.
  • Supabase / Lovable Cloud — our hosting and database provider.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. How we protect it

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls and row-level security. No system is ever perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

6. How long we keep it

Order records are retained for [Retention period] for tax, warranty, and dispute-resolution purposes. Account data is kept while your account is active; on deletion request we remove or de-identify data that is not required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the APPs you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email support@d-erectdealz.app and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you are not satisfied with our response.

8. Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you logged in (“Remember me”) and to hold your cart between visits. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children

Our service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
